NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Returns to San Francisco - Saturday, Oct 8, 2011

The excitement of NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse returns to San Francisco’s Kezar Stadium on Saturday, October 8, 2011 when nationally-ranked lacrosse teams the University of Denver Pioneers and the Harvard University Crimson face off in front of thousands of fans at the third San Francisco Fall Lacrosse Classic. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Bay Area Youth Sports Foundation (BAYS). Buy tickets here.  Prior to the start of the competition on October 8, a free youth clinic and coaches clinic will be offered to a limited number of participants by the coaching staffs and student athletes from Denver and Harvard.

BAYS Approves $97,500 in Grants

The BAYS Foundation board has approved $97,500 in new grants, bringing its total grantmaking since 2009 to $225,000. New 2011 grants included a $10,000 grant to the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association to set up a financial aid program for boys and girls to participate in its programs throughout Northern California.
